The annual conference on insurance, safety and risk management in the construction industry of the Itzik Simon Agency, which took place yesterday (Monday) in Tel Aviv, hosted by Amalia Doak, put the spotlight on the market failure in the construction insurance industry and the reasons that led to this situation, and especially on the poor level of safety and the claims for subrogation.

Itzick Simon Insurance Agency won the tender to insure the construction of a tower and a national institute for proton therapy at the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv. The project is estimated to be worth approximately NIS 500 million. The insurance will be provided by Ayalon Insurance Company.
