Shlomi Hasson, late

In memory of my good friend Shlomi Hasson, the late, entrepreneur and contractor, but more than any other person of stature and stature, who passed away prematurely.

The text from the eulogy delivered by Itzick Simon in his memory

I met Shlomi many years ago. I reached out to him just as he was about to start a new project. He hesitated for a moment, and finally said to me: You reached out to me in the 91st minute. I was almost done. If you can meet with me, reach out to me today. If not, we'll talk in the future. I need the insurance immediately now.

We met on that day - and since then Shlomi has not separated from me in everything related to his construction insurance and projects. I got to know a thorough, opinionated and stubborn person, this was also perhaps the secret of the special bond that was created between us. A bond of trust and personal and professional appreciation.

Shlomi was a man of great stature in every sense of the word. A proud and determined Zionist Israeli, who not only spoke but also volunteered to continue his reserve service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Home Front Command, until these very days. I returned this morning for my first day of work after a stay abroad, and on the way I reflected and said to myself, Wow, I haven't met Shlomi in a long time, I'll arrange to have lunch with him. When I arrived at the office, I heard the bitter news from my employees and I could no longer continue with my normal routine and I sank into great sadness.

On the way to Shlomi's funeral in the streets of Hod Hasharon, the crowd passed many buildings that were built in Shlomi's style, with visual and quality care. The quality of the construction of the companies under his management was a byword in his city, Hod Hasharon and its surroundings. This was important to him because that was who he was: a quality, rare and special person.

Shlomi was a role model for me in many ways: in his gait and behavior, his fiery character and stubbornness, his attention to detail, his patriotism and Israeli and Zionist pride, his concern for the fate of the country, and his warm and radiant personality. Salt of the earth.

We are all shocked and mourning his passing. To our dear Edna, Lior and Dana, our hearts go out to you at this difficult time.

"May his soul be bound in the bundle of life."

Words in his memory by Itzick Simon

11.7.2022

This week marks 3 years since the death of my dear friend Shlomi Hasson, the late.

Miraculously, a few days ago I was organizing the drawers in my personal desk at the office, and surprisingly I found the greeting I wrote to Shlomi in honor of his 60th birthday party, on June 19, 2010.

A few days ago, his family, friends, and those who cherish his memory, dozens of people, gathered for a memorial service at the Neve Hadar Cemetery in Hod Hasharon. They bow down in the face of what they cannot understand or change. And they miss him so much.

Everyone loved this special man, who touched the souls of so many people, and continues to influence and touch us to this day.

I learned so much from my father, but the most important lesson was - to simply be a man: more than he demanded from others - he demanded first of all from himself. More than he received - he always gave. And a word with him was always a word.

Where are there other people like that man?

May your memory be blessed, beloved man.
