Contractor classification
In accordance with the Registered Contractor Classification Regulations, the maximum construction scope permitted for construction in residential buildings, on one construction site, for contractors in the various classifications, is in accordance with the table in the attached link, which is updated from time to time by the Registrar of Contractors.
The Registrar of Contractors wishes to emphasize that with regard to the construction areas being built, covered public areas such as parking lots, basements, shelters, etc. will also be taken into account.
A roof terrace or other roof plane that is not covered will not be taken into account (provided that the floor area underneath it has already been taken into account), even if for toll or property tax purposes, or for any other reason, the built-up area was presented or calculated in a different manner.
