Against the backdrop of rising accidents, changes in safety regulations, and challenges with reinsurers, a conference on Insurance, Safety and Risk Management in the Construction Industry was held - initiated by Itzik Simon - the leading agency for construction insurance.

Hundreds of industry leaders - developers, contractors, insurance company CEOs and regulators, gathered at Rokach 101 Hall in Tel Aviv for a day of discussions, lectures and panels that addressed the heart of the industry's issues: opening the Israeli insurance market to direct activity by foreign insurance companies, subrogation claims by the National Insurance Institute, the new safety regulations, and the state's preparedness for earthquakes and missile threats.
